About Us

Santa’s Husky Rides is family-run and operated by Bearhill Husky, one of Lapland’s most respected husky tour providers, with a long-standing commitment to responsible tourism and exceptional customer service.

Welcome to Santa’s Husky Rides!

From a crazy idea back in the 1990s to a well-established touring and racing kennel nowadays, we’re proud to introduce ourselves and Bearhill Husky. We didn’t have a perfect plan, but through trials and tribulation and the central belief that we could – in cooperation with our dogs, Lapland’s picturesqe nature, and the shared passion of others – create something that was worth doing and that would bring joy and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to scores of travelers the world over.

In 2003 we decided to realize that dream and established Bearhill Husky in the small town of Lieksa in North Carelia. The first years were a steep learning curve and can only be described as adventurous and uncertain.

At first we concentrated on longer tours in the wilds of North Carelia, but as our family grew, and our services were more and more in demand in Lapland we decided to relocate to Rovaniemi, and focus on day trips and shorter tours.

Since 2012, our family has been permanently located in Rovaniemi.
It’s our passion to work with dogs, breed them, train them and let them be the best dogs they can be.

It is exactly this passion we are thrilled and honored to share with you!
